The large series delivers exceptional energy absorption for demanding applications requiring substantial damping capacity. Characterized by their robust and heavy-duty construction, the outer body of each damper is engineered for durability and often features a continuous thread and included lock nut for secure mounting. Filled with high-performance, temperature-stable oil, these units ensure reliable and consistent operation even under significant loads. An integrated positive stop enhances their durability and prevents over-compression. These heavy-duty hydraulic machine elements from RAR are designed for straightforward installation and minimal upkeep.
Offering a significant range of energy absorption and the capacity to handle substantial effective weights, these large shock absorbers are the ideal choice for applications such as heavy machinery, construction equipment, and large-scale automation systems.

Positive stop: External positive stops 2.5 mm to 3 mm before the end of stroke provided by the customer.
Material: Outer body: Steel corrosion-resistant coating; Piston rod: Hard chrome plated steel; Rod end button: Hardened steel and corrosion-resistant coating; Return spring: Zinc plated steel
Damping medium: Silicone based Elastomer Oil, temperature stable
